A four minutes reduced day at the edge of a pond somewhere in South Burgundy (Charolais) France.
Field recording with a stereo XY microphone. Several recordings have been done at several moments of the day from early morning till night. The microphone always on the same place. In the day rise, a flight of ducks passes above the microphone, we hear an engine far off. Then begins, in the meadows surrounding, a « concert » of oxen with a natural reverberation due to the nearness of the forest surrounding the pond. Day is beginning, fowls begin to chat …
